In a broad sense people would agree that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” but isn’t that broad itself? Beauty comes in many shapes and forms. It could be an object like a chair or vast but with the point of being appealing. For instance, a woman’s features to a man or like a bouquet of flowers. For most women beauty would be that favorite little black dress. It is to my understanding that beauty is what aspires feelings. What I think defines beauty is attraction, literature, and sound.
Attraction is the action or power of drawing forth a response. Attraction could a person, panting or even scenery. For example, a woman’s face, or the sparkle of her eyes attract men. Beauty is the form of a woman’s body or her sensual soul that makes her attractive. Beauty is attractive such as, a set of warm colors in a panting that hangs in an art gallery. Artist creates their work hoping to attract customer’s attention to purchase. Some scenery is developed to attract people to visit. For instance, the night scenery of downtown Chicago over looking Lake Michigan draws many people. Beauty is attraction.
A literary piece that draws feelings or emotions is beauty. Literature could be a poem, a song or a book. A literary piece in the form of a poem expresses feelings. For instance, “I am lost in your magic, my heart beats within your chest” quoted from a poem a man wrote for the woman in his life. The artist express the feelings he has about their love and how it makes him feel. Literature goes deep beyond words. Literature evokes emotions from the listener. Literature is Beauty.
A sound can also be beautiful, a sound in the mix of a song. A sweet melody mixed with other sounds and instruments are made to move the listener. A good song where the instruments hit every key on time, I know will make me snap my fingers. Music helps to lighten the mood. Music moves people to dance or sing. Music without words like Jazz, all instruments, Jazz hit the soul of the people and still makes them move. A sound can be soft or loud but a sound is Beauty.
