What is beauty?

Imagine that you were looking at a picture in a magazine one day, and you come across an article titled, "The Picture Perfect Husband and Wife." In this picture you notice that the wife was looking very radiant and wearing a beautiful blue velvet evening gown. Her hair as golden and ravishing as the setting sun, and her fragrance was that of purple and white of lilies. Beside her was her husband. His chest looked as if he could be a cream and caramel goddess of war, all sweaty and his muscles were rippled, and in his hair he had long dread locks and he had muscle bound arms. He smelled like cinnamon and pineapples mixed together. His teeth were gleaming white yet so straight and perfect. They were such a picture perfect couple but, are they really a sign of beauty. What is beauty really? How do you even define the meaning of such a word, in its broad text, without mock consideration for everything you see? How can you not become distracted when you see or hear something as wonderful as was in the magazine! Have you ever imagined something that could have been or was beautiful? We say someone or something had the most beautiful eyes or people often say that the mere beauty of his skin was intoxicating. Beauty in my preference is in our inner beings, it is in buildings as well as a part of life.
I began with a description of a husband and wife; how they looked, how they smelled and how they dressed. Are they really a picture perfect couple or is this what beauty is portrayed as in today’s society? Yes, and no; no because everyone is not happily married and not everyone is a picture perfect couple like the ones in the magazine; you never know they could just be actors. This image was only there to challenge your senses to portray as beauty, but it is not what beauty is. Many people also go on starvation diets because they want to become like the pretty or beautiful models in books, on TV, in magazines and on poster boards. Technically, beauty or being beautiful is not what you, someone else or something looks like; it is actually in your inner self or your inner being. Today’s society just expects people to engage in such actions. How you act is what makes you beautiful or ugly. Always remember that beauty is skin deep. Beauty may be everything we see, feel, touch, hold, and everything we are! What does that mean? In general that means that when we see something that is glittering and sparkly, it is only beautiful because of the shape texture and color it bestows, but the colors are what makes it exquisite. All of god’s creation is beautiful; he designed everything for a reason and a purpose. Mother Nature for example, and all of its creations, how could it not be beautiful? When you see a family of dear grazing along a meadow with bright blue water and doves bathing, while a baby dear whom has just being born is learning how to walk. Beauty is not just one thing, it is every living thing catapulted into one entirety. Take a building for instance, say a building which has marble glass and is high above the clouds. Its structure is designed for people to marvel at, but it is also a place of business. It is beautiful because it towers over your head, standing straight and bright. During sun down the mirrors cast a beautiful sunset.
When god created light he created beauty. Without light everything would be dark. In real life if beauty was not involved, everything would look so bland.
